Christopher W. Jeffress has been practicing law since 1991 when he began his career as a lawyer in a large firm in Chicago, Illinois. He primarily represented insurance companies and large corporations defending against personal injury claims. He soon realized that it was the victims of other's negligence who needed his representation. He moved to Colorado and focused his practice on the representation of people injured as a result of another's wrongful conduct.

Personal Life
In Mr. Jeffress' personal life, he is a loving family man and enjoys living in colorful, active Colorado. He is an avid snowboarder and motorcyclist. He also loves to ride bicycles, run, hike, and spend time with his wife. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Boulder County Bar Association, and Colorado Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Jeffress also gives back to his community. For 12 years, he volunteered for youth in his community, including coaching basketball, football, soccer and other youth sports. Jeffress Law also contributes to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and other important community organizations and charities on a regular basis.
Case Experience
Mr. Jeffress has the experience to successfully handle your case from its initial stages through trial. In 1992, he represented the family of a victim killed at a mental health institution in a civil rights lawsuit. Along with other lawyers at his firm, he took that case to trial in federal district court. After a five-week trial, the jury returned a verdict of $2.75 million. After trial, his clients were awarded an additional $600,000 of attorneys’ fees.
